Who wants #PL1?

You may have heard by now that the Plymouth 400 License Plate Auction is underway! We're auctioning off Plymouth 400 specialty license plates numbered 1-99 and ten historically significant dates (like 1620 and 2020).

Bidding began Wednesday, April 19th online, and the auction will close on June 3rd during a LIVE gala auction in Boston. Click here for more information.

Why are these plates so special? 

First of all, they're the only speicalty plates in Massachusetts that honor our nation's history.

What's so important about plate #1?

We're not quite sure, but we do know that people really like #1 plates! (And in Delaware... #6)

  • The most spent on a specialty plate worldwide is 14.5 million in Iran for plate #1
  • The most spent on a specialty plate in the US is $675,000 in Delaware for plate #6
