PLYMOUTH, MA— Plymouth 400, Inc., the organization planning the events and programs commemorating the 400th anniversary of the 1620 Mayflower voyage and the founding of Plymouth Colony, will host its second community meeting on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 6:30—7:30PM at the Loring Center, 384 Court St. in Plymouth, MA. This meeting will offer attendees an opportunity to hear about plans for this historic anniversary, and updates on the commemorative license plate initiative, the Plymouth 400 Partner Program, the Massachusetts 400 line item in the State budget, and Plymouth 400’s upcoming Pre-Commemoration Events on the South Shore. This community meeting is presented in partnership with the Town of Plymouth, the Plymouth County Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, and the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce.
The goal of this meeting is to encourage an open dialog and garner community support to ensure that Plymouth can and will leverage this historic milestone for the most favorable impact.

Michele Pecoraro, Executive Director of Plymouth 400 will be the keynote speaker, and representatives from the three partnering organizations will speak on behalf of their respective groups about the opportunities that will accompany the 400th and the impact it will have on the community; its businesses, tourism, infrastructure, etc.
This meeting is open the public and those in attendance will be encouraged to ask questions and provide feedback. Those who cannot attend in person are invited to follow along on social media using the hashtag #AskPlymouth400 on Facebook and Twitter.
