Plymouth 400 Hosting Community Meeting on March 4 to Engage Plymouth Residents
PLYMOUTH, MA— Plymouth 400, Inc., the organization planning the events and programs commemorating the 400th anniversary of the 1620 Mayflower voyage and the founding of Plymouth Colony, will host a community meeting on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 6:30—7:30PM in the Rockland Trust Room at 134 Court Street in Plymouth. This meeting will offer attendees an opportunity to hear updates on Plymouth 400’s recent activities and the plans for this historic anniversary, which will greatly benefit Plymouth, the South Shore and Cape Cod, and the entire Commonwealth. This community meeting is presented in partnership with the Town of Plymouth, the Plymouth County Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, and the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce.
The goal of the forum is to encourage an open dialog and garner community support to ensure that Plymouth can and will leverage this historic milestone for the most favorable impact.

Who: Plymouth 400, Inc., Town of Plymouth, the Plymouth County Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, and the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce
Michele Pecoraro, Executive Director of Plymouth 400 will be the keynote speaker, and representatives from the three partnering organizations will speak on behalf of their respective groups about the opportunities that will accompany the 400th and the impact it will have on the community; its businesses, tourism, infrastructure, etc.
This meeting is open the public and those in attendance will be encouraged to ask questions and provide feedback. Those who cannot attend in person are invited to follow along on social media using the hashtag #AskPlymouth400 on Facebook and Twitter.
