Join us for the 7th Annual 2018 Bass & Blue Tournament, a fun-filled weekend of family-friendly competition and events! Events will take place from Thursday, July 12th to Sunday, July 15th in Plymouth, America’s Hometown! This year is bigger and better than ever, with a grand prize of $1,000 on the line! All proceeds support the events and programs of the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower voyage and founding of Plymouth Colony: Plymouth 400!

Thursday, July 12, 6-9pm: Captains & Crew Kickoff Event & Dinner:
The weekend will begin with the Captains & Crew Kickoff Event & Dinner on Thursday, July 12th from 6-9pm at Cordage Park Marina. The Captains & Crew Event is open to the public and all are invited whether or not you plan to fish during the tournament! This exciting evening features dinner provided by Alden Park, menu to include: Caesar Salad, BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Panko Crusted Cod, Pasta Salad, Potato Salad, Corn on the Cob and Assorted Cookies as well as drinks, raffles and prizes! Our host for the evening will be Rob Hakala, host of The South Shore's Morning News on 95.9 WATD, a long-time Plymouth 400 and Bass & Blue Tournament Sponsor! Special guest Trey Zoeller, Founder and Master Blender of Jefferson's Bourbon, will present his whiskey barrel adventures on the MV Ocearch, a 126' cat boat dedicated to the study and tracking of great white, tiger sharks and other species.
Tickets for the Captains & Crew Kickoff & Dinner are $45 for adults and $15 for youth. Children 5 and under are FREE.
Kids will love meeting Barnicle & Husk, stars of the book of the same name, at a reception just for kids. More details to be announced.
Saturday-Sunday, July 14-15: Bass & Blue Fishing Tournament:
The Bass and Blue Tournament will take place on Saturday-Sunday, July 14-15 and is open to all ages. You can fish in any Massachusetts waters, on- or off-shore, but you must bring your catch to the weigh-in station located at Cordage Park Pier in North Plymouth. Prize categories will be awarded based on age and type of fish (bass or blues), with the top adult prizes of $1,000 for the largest bass, and $300 for the largest bluefish. Prizes will be awarded at the Bass & Blue Awards Ceremony on Sunday, July 15th at 5pm.
New for 2018: Win a $500 Gift Certificate for Fishing Gear with our Awards Ceremony Raffle, courtesy of Merrill Engineers & Land Surveyors! Every tournament participant who weighs in a fish will receive a numbered ticket (one per angler). The winning ticket will be drawn at the Awards Ceremony on Sunday, July 15th at 5pm. Meet WATD's Captain Lou, who will be broadcasting live from the ceremony and enjoy some refreshments by Pioppi's! Must be present at ceremony to win.
Online registration fees for the tournament are as follows:
- Adults (16+) are $45
- Youth (ages 7-15) are $20
- Children under 7 are FREE!
- Team Registrations are $195 (up to 6 people only)
- Teams may register under business, club or organization name. Team Prize for Biggest Striper is $1000 and a Trophy!
IT PAYS TO REGISTER EARLY! The first 50 people to purchase an adult registration will receive a FREE long sleeve, UV custom t-shirt.
All other registrations include an official Bass & Blue short sleeve T-shirt available for pick-up at the Kickoff Event or under the tent all weekend.

The tournament committee is comprised of local fishing enthusiasts and is part of the Plymouth 400 Inc; a 501[c]3 registered non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible and 100% of the funds donated go to the commemoration activities. Please consider being a sponsor for the Plymouth 400 Bass & Blue Event. PLYMOUTH 400 BASS & BLUES HARBORFEST
HARBORFEST will be held Saturday, July 14 - Sunday, July 15 from noon-7pm each day.
Part of the 23rd Annual FREE Summer Series produced by Project Arts, a Plymouth 400 Organizational Partner.
Come and experience top bands, musicians, kids’ activities, and more! Please note: this year's event will be held on the front lawn of 134 Court Street in Plymouth.
