Cape & Plymouth Business and CapeBusiness.com have announced a long-term collaboration with the Plymouth 400 organization to provide custom printing, promotional products and other marketing services for the group leading up to Plymouth’s 400th anniversary in 2020.
Plymouth 400, Inc. is a nonprofit organization funded by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Business Development/Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism and the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce, with additional funding provided by the Plymouth County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Town of Plymouth’s Promotion Fund.
Cape & Plymouth Business/CapeBusiness.com has received the exclusive contract from Plymouth 400 to supply all licensed apparel products consisting of hats, T-shirts, sweatshirts and other commemorative items to help celebrate this special anniversary. In addition, Cape & Plymouth Business will produce a custom magazine for Plymouth 400 starting in the spring of 2014 and continuing periodically until the anniversary celebration in 2020. This glossy magazine will feature information and articles about both the town of Plymouth and the 400th anniversary celebration, and will help establish the event both nationally and internationally.
“We are excited to be partnering with Cape & Plymouth Business and CapeBusiness.com as our exclusive licensee and supplier of promotional products for the 400th,” said Brian McGuire, President of Plymouth 400, Inc. “This is an important first step in establishing a local vendor relationship to promote the 400th anniversary of America’s Hometown. We look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship going forward on the promotion and marketing side of our efforts.”
Denis Hanks, Plymouth 400 Board member and executive director of the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce, added, “The Plymouth 400 partnership with Cape & Plymouth Business as well as CapeBusiness.com’s promotional products allow the Plymouth 400 the opportunity to further expand its branding and messaging throughout the region while also delivering great American-made apparel licensed by the 400. Not only will this help to spread the word on the mission of the Plymouth 400 but it will also open up a number of cobranding and sponsorship opportunities for local businesses and large corporations that want to be an integral part of the regional, national and international 400th anniversary commemorations.”
“We are thrilled to be a part of this important time in Plymouth’s history and share in the celebration of its 400th anniversary,” says Ernie Johnson, owner/president of CapeBusiness.com and co-publisher of Cape & Plymouth Business. “We look forward to using our full complement of marketing and publishing services and products to further enhance the Plymouth 400 brand.”
