After more than 100 years as a working cranberry farm, Tidmarsh Wildlife Sanctuary underwent the largest freshwater restoration in the Northeast and is now a 481-acre expanse of cold-water streams, ponds, forest, and woodlands for all to enjoy. Join Tidmarsh Wildlife Sanctuary Director Lauren Kras to learn about the many birds this region has to offer and how they are woven into our history as symbols of freedom and independence, including “All American Birds” such as Bald Eagles and Wild Turkey. We will also explore how the wildlife in Plymouth and at Tidmarsh has changed over 400 years.
