Artweek 2019: Plymouth 400's Meet & Greet with Local Authors

Sunday, April 28, 2019 - 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Plymouth Public Library, Fehlow Room

Please join us in supporting our talented local book authors and Plymouth 400 as part of Plymouth’s 2019 Artweek celebration!

The work of eleven local authors will be showcased at the Plymouth Public Library when Plymouth 400 hosts their Meet & Greet with Local Authors event in the Fehlow Room on Sunday, April 28th from 1-4pm. Throughout the afternoon, authors will be available to greet attendees, sell and sign their books, and provide displays, demonstrations, and activities for children and adults alike.  The event is part of Artweek 2019, an annual statewide festival featuring hundreds of unique and creative experiences that are hands-on, interactive, or offer behind-the-scenes access to artists or the creative process.

Barnicle and Husk, the affable cat and mouse duo from the book series by Mary Shields, will be available to meet and greet families and pose for photos from 1-3pm. Children will enjoy readings by the children’s book authors at a Kids Corner section of the room. At Plymouth 400’s booth, attendees can pick up information on the organization’s plans for the 400th Anniversary commemoration in 2020, as well as current programs and volunteer opportunities.
