Plymouth 400 to host First Community Meeting of 2016 on January 20
PLYMOUTH, MA— Plymouth 400, Inc., the organization planning the events and programs commemorating the 400th anniversary of the 1620 Mayflower voyage and the founding of Plymouth Colony, will host its first community meeting of 2016 on Wednesday, January 20th at the Krovitz Library at Quincy College’s Plymouth Campus, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 232. This meeting will offer attendees an opportunity to hear about plans for this historic anniversary and Plymouth 400’s Pre-Commemoration Events and Programs for 2016. All Plymouth 400 Community Meetings are open the public and those in attendance will be encouraged to ask questions and provide feedback. Those who cannot attend in person are invited to follow along on social media using the hashtag #AskPlymouth400 on Facebook and Twitter.

What we’ve accomplished. 2015 successes
What’s ahead? Goals for 2016, including Pre-Commemoration Events & Programs, educational programming, engaging communities
This Community Meeting will be held in partnership with Plymouth County Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce (PACC). PACC Executive Director and Plymouth 400 Board Member Kevin O’Reilly will be in attendance to answer questions surrounding how the 2020 commemoration plans to meet its goal of increasing tourism and economic development to the Town and to the Commonwealth.
