Stop by Forefathers Monument tomorrow from 12-4pm, pick up a passport, and travel through time at our annual Forefathers Family Fun Day!
You’ll find some of the many cultures represented in Plymouth, like the Wampanoag, the Mayflower Descendants, Holland, Ireland, Portugal, Italy, and Brazil.
You’ll see Irish Step Dance, Brazilian capueira, Wampanoag dances, and more! Taste Italian meatballs (from Mama Mia’s!), Portuguese malasadas, Indian tacos, and Brazilian churros. Hear American folk music, Lincoln’s Thanksgiving Proclamation, and traditional hymns sung in Portuguese. For a full schedule of performances, visit the Forefathers Family Fun Day Event page.
Children will be given their very own passport and at each different culture’s area their passport will be stamped to show they’ve visited. Collect all 10 stamps and you’ll be entered to win one of our fantastic raffle prizes!
