“Why History Matters” is a five part series of talks presented by Kingston Council on Aging and Plymouth 400. The first installment, held Jan. 19, was “Back Roads of the South Shore Part 1.” The topics focused on the past and present connection to the history of Kingston, the Alden Kindred of America, and the Duxbury Rural and Historical Society. Five speakers spoke about Kingston and Duxbury and relating personal recollections of the changes in their towns.
